ShibaSwap Developer Hints at Shiba Inu Layer 2 Scaling Solution Release

Shiba Inu makes headlines again with Eric M hints at its Layer 2 scaling solution. The ShibaSwap developer briefly discussed the subject in a discord server primarily focused on SHIB. 

When asked by a user about Shiba Inu’s Layer 2 solution, Eric responded “soon” without presenting a specific time. However, the response was enough to rattle the Shiba community, which is already on a high. 

This is not Eric’s first major statement as the anonymous developer also talked about Shiba Inu’s capability to launch Shibarium. Furthermore, Eric stated that Shiba does not have to wait for Ethereum 2.0, the much-awaited PoS upgrade, for Shibarium’s release.

Even Ryoshi, an anonymous creator of the best-performing crypto, talked extensively about Shiba Inu’s Layer 2 scaling solution. BONE (Bone ShibaSwap), ShibaSwap DEX’s governance token, has come forward to act as the primary crypto. 

Shiba Inu has dedicated the role to BONE instead of SHIB to avoid heavy whale concentration. The blog posted by Ryoshi talks about how Shibarium needs to facilitate decentralization. The creators put great emphasis on the platform, not leaving even one point of failure.

As SHIB is an ERC 20 token running on the Ethereum network, it also has high fees. That is why the network focuses on developing a Layer 2 scaling solution. Furthermore, with Shiba Inu expanding its reach into NFTs and gaming, the need for economical solutions has increased severalfold.

Thus, Shibarium’s launch will play a huge role in SHIB’s market presence. Ryoshi, along with several other developers, is also trying to get Shiba into the metaverse. The developer talked about it recently, stating that multiple developers are working on different aspects of Shiba, including Shi, Shibarium, Shibanet, Incubator, Shiboshi Game, and more.

Currently standing as the 13th largest crypto, Shiba Inu will certainly gain pace from the latest announcement and upcoming launches.
