Shopping.io, a crypto payments platform, has integrated with online retail giants like eBay, Walmart, and Amazon to currently facilitate $EGLD payments on its platform for US consumers. The new crypto shopping experience is all set to go live from April 8th, 2021.

Thus, Shopping.io decided to rope in large online retailers to expand its offering. They have already tagged up with Amazon, Walmart, & eBay and have plans to incorporate Alibaba soon. They aim to create storefronts for smaller businesses that can also offer cryptocurrency payment options to their customers. The partnership allows eGold investors to use their eGold holdings for purchasing products and services without the need to pay conversion costs or enduring long waiting periods. Hence eGold holders will find a direct way of using their tokens. This will thus increase its applicability and, thereby, its popularity.
