This x16R algorithm is exclusive as it utilizes different algorithms which are selected randomly based on a hash of the last block. Due to this, the order is random always, thus making it difficult to build up an ASIC. The exclusive algorithm is one among the key reasons why Ravencoin (RVN) has grown in its popularity.
