INDEX GAME has signed an investment agreement with The Sandbox taking it onboard as a major shareholder that has committed to invest $1.7 million for the development of its NFT, metaverse, and GameFi segments along with the Web3 space to create a play-to-earn content to further the opportunities of the integrated virtual realm.
The investment of $1.7 million is an initial figure that can go up to $6 million by the end of next year, 2023. The Sandbox has also committed to offering an exclusive arrangement to INDEX GAME for IPs that will be created when both are in the investment agreement.
INDEX GAME is the first Hong Kong-based startup to be recognized by The Sandbox for developing metaverse experiences thanks to an investment arrangement. Also, INDEX GAME has become the first company in Hong Kong to receive an investment from The Sandbox.
However, this is not the first collaboration for INDEX GAME, as it has previously partnered with over 15 brands and IPs in Hong Kong to construct projects that impress all the users across the globe.
Partners other than The Sandbox are Sun Hung Kai & Co, Adrian Cheng, Hang Seng Bank, Ocean Park, Fine Art Asia, and many others.
INDEX GAME recently completed its one-year existence in the industry. This anniversary was worth celebrating since it expanded not just in its offering but also in the number of team members jumping up to 30 hard-working & skilled members.

The Sandbox is a decentralized gaming ecosystem. The Sandbox allows players to build their experiences and monetize them using NFTs and the native token, SAND. It allows players to own, play, trade, govern, and earn in the ecosystem. There are lots of well-know companies are entering in Metaverse with the help of The Sandbox. Recently, the award-winning reality show, Hell’s Kitchen announced entering the metaverse.
VoxEdit can be used by players to create a non-fungible token and upload it to the marketplace while integrating the same into the game via no-code Game Maker. The team’s vision is to create opportunities for people to explore the virtual world by playing and creating their experiences.
