Tommy Hilfiger debuts with a multi-metaverse hub

Metaverse is expanding in terms of its horizons. Brands are coming forward to explore the digital segment, and they are bringing innovation along with them. The latest entrant to the list is Tommy Hilfiger, a fashion brand that has made its way to the metaverse in a rather grand manner.

The development has been announced by Tommy Hilfiger through Twitter. It has also shed some light on the list of partners who have come together to make the project a success. According to the tweet, Emperia, The Sandbox, Roblox, Ready Player Me, and Spatial have played a key role in ensuring that the digital lifestyle of Tommy Hilfiger goes live in multiple communities.

All the partners and every piece of this development form a part of the Decentraland Metaverse Fashion Week 2023 by Tommy Hilfiger.

The fashion week is all set to feature some big names and events. This includes DressX, a collaboration with artists based in Web3, a photo booth, AR features to leave everyone stunned, and a competition that focuses on the community for the creation of AI fashion. Don’t be surprised, as there is a lot more in store by Tommy Hilfiger.

Tommy Hilfiger is ultimately working to achieve the goal of offering the best end-to-end shopping experience that has been crafted to reflect the ideologies of the brand. Also, a core focus has been invested in increasing engagement time and offering a better experience to users.

The recent project by the fashion brand takes the metaverse segment a step forward. It enables a connection between metaverse, entertainment, eCommerce, and direct performance. A recent update in the metaverse hub is that the brand is now displaying its varsity jacket. Users can try it on a digital avatar in any of the mentioned virtual worlds.

Items put up for display are available for purchase in two forms, namely physical and virtual. The physical form is connected to the eCommerce platform of Tommy Hilfiger, while the digital form is connected to DressX. Emperia Hub currently hosts the sale of the Varsity Jacket, while the digital version of the same can be found at Ready Player Me. Once owned, the digital avatar can be used in any game or environment that is eligible or connected.

Olga Dogadkina, the Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of Emperia, has said that the work with Tommy Hilfiger signals a shift by the industry in the direction of collaboration with the idea of utilizing the technology, along with traits & capabilities, of every partner. Olga has further said that it will encourage deeper brand engagement with better loyalty among shoppers.

The spot will reportedly be hosted in Decentraland from March 28, 2023, to March 31, 2023. It has been designed by Emperia to match the products of Tommy Hilfiger. All the non-fungible tokens and collectible POAPs will be available. Furthermore,  the best experience is that users can explore the metaverse by virtually wearing a Tommy Hilfiger jacket.
