While the world is shocked at the rapid spread of the newest deadly virus, the crypto community is beginning to the initiative to supply as much medical aid as possible. This time, it is TRON Foundation that has come up with a generous aid to further this novel cause.

TRON Chief Justin Sun also tweeted his picture on Twitter, displaying the safety masks that were being dispatched to the city of Wuhan, one of the worst affected regions. The caption reads,

TRON has followed the footsteps of the Binance Charity Foundation, which has distributed more than 70,000 N95 masks in the affected regions, which are said to offer amole protection from the deadly virus. However, due to sudden outbursts, there’s a huge shortage in supply of these masks, and the need for concerted efforts from the entire crypto is highly felt. Therefore, efforts from TRON is a great sign, and soon, the entire community is likely to join the fight against coronavirus.
In an official post of Medium, TRON mentioned the efforts being taken by the community at large and urged members to join the fight. It further said,
“The community has reacted urgently, and we have already received commitments from various community members from Korea, Singapore, North America, and EU, as well as corporations within the TRON ecosystem including BitTorrent, Poloniex, DLive, and WINk, with more to be confirmed. We are also coordinating with some of the largest logistics companies around the world to help deliver and distribute these supplies as soon as possible to whoever is in need.”
