TRON (TRX) States DragonEx Now Supports USDT-TRON Trading Pair

When it comes to the digital world, one cannot avoid a few issues. One is a virus, and second is hacking. Hacking has been troubling crypto worlds since many years now. People have a habit of looting somebody else or destroying the structure for the greed of either popularity or money. Crypto market has seen many hacking attempts, some of them have been successful too. Since the success of hacking attempts, crypto creators and managers are building a system which can defeat such efforts. Security is given the utmost importance.

The first-ever hack of the year was in January when the Cryptopia got hacked. And the exchange which fell prey to the hacking attempt most recently was DragonEx. It is a Singapore based cryptocurrency exchange which announced the news of the hacking attempt on its Telegram channel.

The exchange reported about the hacking on 24-25 March; and on 25 March, the TRON Foundation revealed that its USDT-TRON pair will be backed by DragonEx and would be listed on its exchange platform. The TRON Foundation also revealed that the TRX Market has decided to support the USDT-Tron pair. Both the announcements have been made so serially as it is not yet clear if the TRON Foundation was aware of the hacking attempt before making the announcement or negative.

After announcing the news of hack, DragonEx announced,

Part of the assets were retrieved back, and we will do our best to retrieve back the rest of stolen assets. Several Judicial administrations were informed about this cybercrime case including Estonia, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc. and we’re assisting policemen in the investigation.

DragonEx announced the news of the attack on Monday, saying that, on March 24, it had experienced a cyber-attack in which the cryptocurrency held by users and the exchange itself was “transferred and stolen.”

As per the report on the hack, the lost cryptocurrencies include Bitcoin, ETH, Bitcoin Cash, XRP, XEM, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, and over ten more assets. After the news was announced, the exchange said that the investigation of the hack began, and the concerned authorities are working to find the culprit and do the needful.

The announcement by DragonEx was:

We have encountered attacks from hackers, and our users’ crypto assets and DragonEx’s crypto assets are both stolen. International Policemen are investigating. Please wait for following announcement about the accurate loss situation.
