Trust Wallet Extends Support to .bnb Domain Name

SPACE ID took .bnb Domain live two weeks ago. In a short time, it announced one of the major integrations through a blog post. The domain name has integrated with Trust Wallet to receive its support, allowing users to change their names and send funds with the .bnb name on the wallet.

Trust Wallet plays an important role in the BNB Chain ecosystem. The integration has been marked as a major milestone for the Space ID community.

Features available to the users of Trust Wallet after the conclusion of the integration are as follows:-

  • Users can choose to level up from the traditional BNB Chain address.
  • Users can set a custom record to their domain name and enjoy an enhanced experience on the wallet, along with many decentralized applications.
  • Domain non-fungible tokens will remain available to users, representing domain name ownership.

BNB domain names are portable within and across several applications. Users will have the continued advantage of displaying their customized names and sending funds throughout their lifetime.

Trust Wallet has started enabling users to register for a .bnb domain name. The process starts by accessing the application of Trust Wallet and tapping the dApp browser icon.

A link on Trust Wallet will redirect the user to the registration page for the .bnb Domain Name. It is important to note that users must have their wallets on the BNB Chain with the minimum required BNB loaded during the registration process.

Space ID aims to connect people, applications, and information across blockchains. Space ID plans on doing that by building a universal name service network. It is open-sourced, decentralized, chain-agnostic, and censorship-resistant in nature.

Trust Wallet is a non-custodial wallet that allows its users to store more than 7 million crypto assets. This includes storing non-fungible tokens through more than 68 blockchains as well.

The wallet has a Web3 browser built into the system, allowing users to buy cryptocurrencies through the native decentralized exchange platform.

Binance acquired Trust Wallet in June 2018. Since then, the wallet service has supported a wide range of crypto trading and staking multiple crypto assets. This has helped the team reach the height of a 5 million active user base. There is no fee to download the Trust Wallet mobile application. Security measures deployed by Trust Wallet are pin code scanning and fingerprint scanning.

After integrating with Trust Wallet, the .bnb domain name further looks to expand its integration with more partners.
