Ultiverse Partners with Celer for Cross-Chain NFTs

The announcement of a new partnership with the interoperability protocol Celer has come from the Ultiverse web3 metaverse. As per the terms of the deal, the two projects will work toward bringing enhanced Interoperability for GameFi, NFTs, DeFi, cryptos, governance tokens, and much more. The new Electric Sheep cross-chain NFT collection launch will kick off this exciting integration.

Thanks to their popularity in recent years, NFTs do not need any introduction. The utility of these non-fungible tokens has extended to many Industries, businesses, and humanitarian projects, like in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Despite the advantages, these tokens cannot broadly enable cross-chain transfers.

On top of that, even the current interoperability protocol has a complicated outlook that involves source chains and wrappings. This new proposition from Ultiverse introduces a token that does not have a source chain and can access all the functions of native tokens on any chain. One can buy or sell these NFTs with just a click while avoiding the complicated functions of a cross-chain bridge.

This embedded cross-chain functionality does not bother the ownership or authenticity of the token in any way. Furthermore, this true cross-chain connectivity gives you access to more marketplaces than before. The two projects aim to create support for Ethereum and BNB blockchains initially, and in time, it will be expanded to other chains like Flow and Solana.

They will launch a new Genesis PFP NFT called Electric Sheep to mark this occasion. Apart from the cross-chain functionality, the collection will include features like one-click transactions and extreme low-cost and optimistic-rollup security models. The Ultiverse Metaverse will bring more such collections in the future exploiting the tools and infrastructure of Celer Interoperability protocol.

Ultiverse is an innovative “social gaming” platform that gives access to more than just NFTs. The network hopes to build a symbiotic relationship with the users to build its vision of the metaverse called the MetaFi. Ultiverse hopes to open up the opportunities of this MetaFi to everyone, regardless of their economic background, by enabling multi-chain connectivity.

Not only that, the project is building a sophisticated social gaming experience for its users with AAA-quality graphics. This web3 gaming infrastructure will have a VR-friendly virtual world with a top-notch interface.

Celer, on the other hand, is a multi-chain operating system that allows assets, protocols, and liquidities to communicate with other ecosystems. The network also allows developers to make their dApps with Celer Cross-chain Message SDK. These Celer-supported dApps can connect with the multiple ecosystems across the crypto space with the single transaction UX.

The Celer NFT Bridge’s MainNet is slated to drop soon. Before this arrival, the two projects hoped to get the demand up for cross-chain NFTs with innovative collections.
