VeChain: Ushering in Blockchain for Healthcare and Corporates

VeChain has been gaining momentum since the beginning of this year due to its real-world use cases in the healthcare industry. The ‘Forbes Blockchain 50 List’ running its third year in 2021, took note of VeChain technology in its list of prominent companies. The VeChain Foundation Twitter handle announced that they were featured in the ‘2021 Forbes Blockchain 50 List’.

The Forbes Blockchain List is a list of prominent international companies that are leading in employing distributed ledger technology and have revenue or a valuation of at least $1 billion.

VeChain: Integrating Blockchain Technology in Healthcare

Healthcare records systems are notoriously archaic. Instead of using inefficient and insecure record systems for lab results, this valuable data can be stored on the blockchain, with only patients and other authorized parties having access. A VeChain-based E-HCert App was rolled out to patients of both the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus and Aretaeio Hospital.

VeChain’s Ecosystem Manager cited that the E-HCert app is a one of its kind medical programmed solution in the world built with blockchain that is a GDPR docile. VeChain’s partnership with iDante brought about solutions that highlight agile infrastructure, passionate engineers, and a good supply of resources. To digitize the Mediterranean Hospitals, VeChain launched ‘E-NHL,’ a GDPR compliance and a digital database solution that can record clinical facts and figures to guarantee secure care.

During the global pandemic COVID-19, the E-HCert app and website helped people receive their PCR test results. The app provided people with a vaccination certificate and COVID-19 test in a QR code.

VeChain: A treasure trove of real-life use cases

VeChain is ambitious and already has a strong presence in the Chinese market. At the beginning of 2021, VeChain’s E-HCert was first used in June 2020 for certifying COVID-19 test results for more than 8,000 people arriving in Cyprus, said the Mediterranean Hospital.

With proven projects from large-scale enterprises already running on the VeChainThor blockchain, the company has shown that it can help businesses create useful blockchain applications. VET is making a name for itself by proving to be an essential component by revolutionizing the supply chain and traceability industries.

Touting VeChain

A popular American Professional Call of Duty Player ‘Seth Abner’ has joined public personalities to tout VET, the native token of the leading enterprise blockchain platform, VeChain. On 17th April 2021, the two-time gold awarded medalist, Scump, expressed his interest in VeChain (VET).

Abner believes that VeChain has the power to amplify and expand economically. In a tweet, he recently told his 2 million followers that the VET was gearing to land on the moon.

VET is currently ranked as the 13th largest digital currency. VeChain has recorded an astounding record trend and has taken its price beyond the $0.2 resistance level in two days, also this has affected VeChain price prediction 2025. Blockchain technology is trading at $0.2439, with a 2.32% price uptrend based on 24 hours estimation. With the ongoing streak and ranking of VET, it has the power to align itself with the largest cryptocurrency companies.
