The crypto industry has been eager for this year’s high-profile Power of One Lunch with Warren Buffett, which Justin Sun won via an auction bid for $4.57 million. The event was scheduled to take place on the 25th of this month in San Francisco, California. However, the community will have to wait for a bit longer, as TRON’s CEO has fallen sick just days before the mega event.

Justin Sun is suffering from kidney stones, a disease easier described than experienced. Though, a future date hasn’t been declared yet for lunch. The lunch is one of the biggest events in the industry and is being looked like a chance to convince Buffett about the crypto space.
Buffett, who has been quite critical about Bitcoin and other tokens, stated last year that crypto is just “rat poison squared,” and just a couple months ago, compared the apex digital currency to the button on his suit. Justin himself viewed the charity lunch as a chance to change his views on the industry. Apart from this awaited event, all the press conferences which Justin had to be a part of have been postponed.
TRON Chief had invited many leaders from the crypto industry to represent digital currency space. His invitee list includes Litecoin Chief Charlie Lee, Huobi Global Chief Livio Wang, Binance Charity Foundation head Helen Hai, eToro co-founder Yoni Assia, and Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire.
Justin had secured the lunch by a charity auction bid, for $4.57 million, which would be donated to GLIDE Foundation. The lunch happens annually and is in association with eBay. While many are looking forward to the event, two of the most powerful people in the industry won’t be a part of the event. Binance chief Changpeng Zhao declined Sun’s invitation, while Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum’s creator hasn’t been invited yet.
