Wombat Joins Hands With EOS Offspring, the Telos Foundation

Blockchain-based gaming wallet Wombat announced on Monday that it had joined hands with the Telos Foundation, an EOS network offspring focused at futuristic decentralized network solutions. In the official announcement on Twitter, Wombat stated that it was going multi-chain with Telos and that their joint resources would allow them to introduce innovative blockchain gaming technology.

In an official announcement on Medium Wombat stated that the collaboration would provide access to its users to a free Telos account. Commenting on these recent developments, Telos CPO Justin Giudici said,

“We’re so excited to welcome Wombat as a preferred wallet to Telos. They’ve really pushed the boundaries when it comes to UX and ease of use for the EOS ecosystem and will enable rapid growth for us, too.”

Berlin-based Wombat is one of the fastest-growing digital wallets based on the EOS network, having over 80,000 users from more than 169 countries. Millions of transactions have been executing through their Android, iOS, and Chrome extension. It is a crypto-blockchain based gaming platform, which also allows EOS users to store their digital assets.

Telos network, on the other hand, recently started onboarding games like Angry Warlord, which will also be available to play through Wombat. In the official post, Wombat said,

“We’ve worked with the amazing people at Telos Foundation to bring each Wombat user a free Telos account in addition to the EOS accounts we already provide. Together with the Telos Foundation, we want to bring the next 1 million blockchain users to both Telos and EOS.”
