Craig Wright Accuses Binance, Bitfinex And Tether For Sponsoring Prostitution And Slavery

Craig Wright and the never-ending controversies surrounding him seem very much alive and kicking. The self-proclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto has had serious verbal battles going on with famous crypto industry players like Binance’s chief Changpeng Zhao, computer scientist John McAfee, and even Twitter influencers like Hodlonaut.

After the world started rejecting Wright’s claim of being Nakamoto, he sent legal notices to a few to a few of them and threatening to sue everyone who says he isn’t the creator of Bitcoin. Consequently, Binance took a stand against him and Bitcoin SV, the token spearheaded by Wright. Zhao delisted BSV from the platform, which would have definitely stung Wright, given the sheer market capitalization and user base of Binance Exchange.

The war doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon. Speaking at a conference in Toronto on May 30, Wright laid serious accusations on Binance, Bitfinex, and Tether, for sponsoring prostitution, and slavery. He said that Binance, Bitfinex, and Tether use

Bitcoin [BTC] to fund illegal operations for pumping money such as illegal money travel, illegal use of people smuggling.

In a video clip from the conference, Wright can be heard saying,

30% of Binance’s money is used to sponsor women in prostitution. 30% of SlaveryBinance and Tether funds women in slavery.

These are serious allegations, which wouldn’t have been taken likely only if Wright provided the source of this information. That, he failed to do. Such claims are a bit too much in a war which looks to be going nowhere. However, Binance’s CEO doesn’t seem to be bothered much and discarded Wright’s remarks without any remorse. He said,

Giving attention is probably what he wants… We ignore stupid stuff and focus on things that matter.

Despite the fact that most of the crypto community is warring against Craig Wright, major corporations, which are foraying in the crypto realm haven’t backed off from supporting him. The conference to promote Bitcoin SV was sponsored by the likes of Uber, Apple, VISA, Amazon, MasterCard, and Steam. Apart from accusing other crypto players, Wright made a strong argument regarding his intentions behind utility dapps, and blockchain infra for the ecosystem. He said,

The only reward I want from this is you to build something better. I don’t want a world where we have people isolated by machines. I want to be a part of the world where people are paid to be a part of everything.
