XcelTrip Now Allows Payments through BNB Tokens

Recently, XcelTrip declared via a tweet that it will be open to receive payments through the native token of Binance (BNB). XcelTrip is a platform where you can plan your trip and fix air travel, hotels, and vehicle rentals. The platform uses the cryptocurrency ecosystem to operate.

In the tweet, Xceltrip reveals that it has 500,00 hotels that accept BNB tokens. However, its official website does not show the exact number of hotels accepting payments via BNB tokens.

Regarding the transformation made by the emerging travelling platform, Hob Khadka, XcelTrip’s CEO stated, “Our vision is to decentralize the trillion-dollar travel industry by harnessing the power of blockchain & our crypto asset “XcelToken” and empower the user communities around the world.”

Notably, the platform announced to accept seven different cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash, NEM, SteemSteamSteam, Ripple, and Litecoin, in late July 2018. One can also pay through PayPal using fiat currency. As given on the website, they will initiate to accept payments via Visa and Mastercard cards soon.

Moreover, XcelTrip is registered in Singapore having offices and development centers in India, USA, and Nepal. The platform claims itself as the “World class Decentralized Travel Ecosystem.” Also, the platform has its own token called (XcelToken – XCEL), based on the Ethereum ERC 20 platform.

Apart from XcelTrip, there are several other travel firms which already function in crypto, such as Travelbybit, AirTreks, airBaltic, ABitSky, CheapAir, Destinia, SurfAir and more.
