Yield Guild Games recently announced a partnership with CyBall. The venture is expanding its in-game items collection with CyBall’s NFT packs. The football-themed NFT game is ready to launch on Solana and Binance Smart Chain.
The collaboration will see YGG acquiring a part of CyBall’s Genesis NFT packs. The NFTs allow Yield Guild to acquire a minimum of 1,000 CyBall scholars. Moreover, the partnership will result in Gabby Dizon (YGG’s Co-Founder) acting as an advisor to CyBall.
CyBall is an emerging NFT play-to-earn game where gamers can trade, collect, battle, and mentor CyBlocs, fantasy cyborgs that can be showcased and traded as collectible NFTs on the network.
Jeff Holmberg, YGG’s Head of Investments, talked about CyBall. Jeff described CyBall as an intuitive hybrid of Pokemon and Football Manager. The game provides different modes to cater to both competitive and casual gamers. Moreover, it boasts play-to-earn and fun gameplay, offering multiple earning prospects.
That’s not all for CyBall’s functionalities as the game also provides automated scholarship-based loans, CyLoans. YGG scholars can access CyLoans to get even better-earning opportunities on the network.
Tin Tran, CyBall’s Co-Founder, also talked about the development. Tin stated that Yield Guild Games is an amazing partner, especially in the NFT space, shaping the blockchain-based gaming industry. CyBall believes that with YGG’s exposure and influence, the NFT-based game can reach the masses across the globe.
The play-to-earn game offers five classes, and each of them has increasing skill rarity and rating. Players can train CyBlocs to compete against each other in different game modes and earn rewards. Skilled CyBlocs can even teach new CyBlocs, creating a new generation of NFTs. Mentoring offers veteran CyBlocs to pass their traits and classes to the new CyBlocs. CyBall will avoid inflation by restricting CyBloc’s mentoring capabilities to three.
The game integrates two tokens – CyBloc Battery Tokens and CyBall Token. Both tokens are pivotal as CBT (CyBloc Battery Token) is the play-to-earn reward while CYB (CyBall Token) is the governance token.
The game will be released on BSC first, with quick plans to go live on Solana. Given the partnerships and features CyBall packs, the game is sure to be an instant hit.
