Crypto payments platform Zeux widens its payments base by adding VET, the native cryptocurrency of VeChain, on its platform. According to its tweet on Monday, the move is directed towards achieving the goal of mass adoption.

Without a doubt, the crypto space is expanding, and that too at a rapid pace. Various industries like entertainment, music, e-commerce, money transfers, etc. are moving towards crypto adoption. Giant corporations like JPMorgan and Facebook are working on their own cryptocurrencies, which speaks volumes for the scope for expansion.
Consequently, the competition in the crypto space is growing simultaneously, which has kept established crypto players on their heels. Zeux, like other companies, is working hard to stay in the competition, by taking various measure like adding new tokens and giving flexible services. Particularly, crypto payments in the retail sector have shown positive signs, with apps like Zeux facilitating instant crypto to fiat conversions.
The biggest gainers in this competition are crypto holders, which can now actually utilise their tokens. VET holders use the coin to pay at all stores via Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. VeChain retweeted Zeux’s tweet, adding that Apple Pay and Samsung Pay have over 190 million users across the globe.
Thanks for the integration and now VET holders can use their VET to pay at all stores using Apple Pay representing approximately 140mm global users in 2018 and Samsung Pay representing 51mm global users in 2018 via #Zeuxapp. (User Data according to Juniper Research). https://t.co/tIWwWn27eC

In its tweet, Zeux also shared a blog post by Tim Mark, Marketing Head at the London-based company, posted on medium.com, which states that VET will officially be available via the Zeux app on 13 May 2019. Commenting on the partnership, Zeux founder and CEO, Frank Zhou said,
It is our great pleasure to add VET to our listing. VeChain has been a major player in developing its blockchain to make a difference in enabling enterprises and professional teams to leverage public blockchain. In particular, given the large VeChain community in Europe, the partnership will help us to reach our target European customer base.
Mike Zhuang, Chief Strategy Officer at VeChain, stated that his company is committed to expand VET in terms of adoption and making it smart money. The partnership with Zeux will allow VET holders to utilise the token on Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, which takes the company a step closer towards its vision, Zhuang added.
