Celebrating innovation, expertise, and measurable impact across the software testing and quality assurance community, the Awards represent one of the highest honours in the industry for professionals and organisations throughout the Asia Pacific region and the UAE. 

Entries will close on 12 August 2026. With 16 categories available and multiple entry opportunities, this is the ideal moment for teams and individuals to showcase their achievements and be recognised among the very best in the field. 

About the Awards 

Held in Bangalore, India, the Asia Pacific Software Testing Awards provide a powerful platform for brands to demonstrate their capabilities and expertise to a highly engaged audience of industry peers. The awards ceremony doubles as a premier networking event, uniting the brightest minds in software testing for an unforgettable evening of celebration. 

Entries are judged with complete impartiality and transparency by an esteemed panel of industry leaders, ensuring that every submission is assessed fairly and rigorously against strict criteria. 

How the Judging Process Works 

The judging process is designed to be thorough, fair, and transparent: 

• Each category is allocated to the most relevant judge based on their expertise, job function, and experience. 

• Judges score each entry against strict, pre-set criteria. Entries must achieve a minimum score to progress – ensuring only genuinely strong submissions advance. 

• The top two highest-scoring entries per category proceed to Judging Day, where the full panel collectively votes to determine the winner. 

• Companies are not required to physically attend Judging Day, making participation accessible to organisations across the region. 

• The number of permitted entries per category varies depending on category popularity.

The 2026 judging panel brings together decades of combined experience across software testing, quality assurance, and technology leadership. 

Chair of the Judging Panel: Chethan Jayadev, Vice President, JP Morgan 

Chethan Jayadev is a software testing and automation professional with over 14 years of experience in ensuring quality at scale across complex systems and agile environments. His career has been shaped by a deep passion for delivering high-quality software through robust testing strategies, automation frameworks, and a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Tips for a Winning Entry 

The judging panel has shared the following guidance to help entrants submit their strongest possible application: 

• Clearly articulate the business importance and criticality of your project, and highlight what was innovative about your approach. 

• Demonstrate strong people management and communication qualities – mentorship, coaching, approachability, and a commitment to team well-being and skills development. 

• Evidence how you overcame challenges and describe your commitment to best practices, including your choice of methodology and how it supported your objectives. 

• Show that your testing covered all aspects of the system – not just software-based backend components. 

• Provide a detailed account of your project methodology and justify your technology choices, with clear reference to stakeholder needs and project goals. 

• Put your metrics in context – explain why they matter and what they demonstrate.
