X Internet Unlimited Company and X Corp. have sued Bitcoin influencers Vivek Kumar Sen, Zamyang Sherpa, and operators of related accounts in the UK High Court. This lawsuit was announced by James Burnham, General Counsel of X and xAI, on X today, September 21, 2026. X allegedly stated that they coordinated a network of X accounts to manipulate engagement and falsely acquire at least 207,384 pounds through the platform’s Creator Revenue Program.

The action, filed on September 17, claims the accounts published similar content and recurrently liked and reposted one another’s posts. They also used several financial accounts to conceal their identities. X suspended the accounts on August 18 and aims to seek the return of the income along with damages, interest, and legal costs.

X’s Identification of the Coordinated Network

The reported operation involved several X accounts, being managed as a big network rather than sole creators. The accounts named in connection with the reported network interacted with one another by liking, reposting, and commenting on posts. They also published identical or highly similar content within seconds or minutes of each other.

The reported activity was done to artificially increase engagement metrics and make the accounts appear to be independent creators. X also reports that the network uses several financial accounts to make its connections harder to recognize. Some accounts allegedly used fake names and payment identities that did not resemble the individual actually managing them.

The company reports that Vivek Kumar Sen was used to provide paid engagement manipulation services to third parties and to ask other high-follow accounts to be a part of the operation. The action goes beyond accusations that numerous accounts were operated by the same people. X claims the accounts were knowingly coordinated to create false engagement and boost creator-revenue payouts.

The accounts were suspended by X on August 18, with the organization alleging coordinated income-sharing fraud and platform manipulation. X said it is seeking to recover at least 207,384 that it alleges was falsely acquired through the Creator Revenue Sharing Program.

What Does X Seek From the Creator Revenue Scheme?

Along with the return of the illegally obtained funds, X is seeking damages, interest and legal costs from the perpetrators. The organization has also estimated that the inquiry, analysis and remediation associated with the reported activity will cost at least 75,000 pounds. X said their policies do not accept fraudulent tactics and will take due action to safeguard the platform and genuine creators’ income.

The accusations emphasize the role that engagement mechanisms play in X’s Creator Revenue Sharing Program. Coordinated likes, reposts, replies, and other interactions could make accounts appear to have real audiences and higher activity levels. This affects the income generated through the program.

However, these remain accusations contained in the lawsuit. The filing and the claims by X do not themselves prove that the defendants committed the alleged conduct, and the case will proceed through the UK legal process.

The case also garnered attention on the problems platforms face in bifurcating genuine creator activity from coordinated engagement, as creator revenue programs increasingly connect audience metrics with financial payout. Changing these metrics can have direct financial consequences for creators and account operators. The accusations also underscore the risk associated with artificial intelligence practices and automated engagement practices.

The claims in this case involve alleged engagement coordination, identity fraud, and manipulation of platform metrics rather than ordinary use of multiple accounts. X’s lawsuit seeks financial recovery and other relief while the company continues its efforts to recognize activity that it considers false.

For now, the central claim remains an allegation made by X in the UK High Court lawsuit. The case will determine the lawful responsibility of the defendants and the result of the company’s claim for repayment, damages, costs, and other relief.
