During the Korean Blockchain Week on September 9, MyShell announced that it will soon launch a new modular Agentic framework, “ShellAgent”, which is currently in the testing phase.
In a preview shared by the company, it was revealed that ShellAgent is an integrated platform for cross-modal cutting-edge models that helps create monetizable advanced AI consumer applications without coding. ShellAgent will also have a built-in MyShell incentive mechanism, and can deploy a trading market with just one click.

With ShellAgent, developers will have entire control of their applications’ user journey. MyShell will use their tokenomics to ensure incentive aligns with the contributions of open-source projects. It is expected to be launched in September.
At the event, MyShell also proposed to further expand the framework of decentralized AI by building an AI consumer layer. At present, MyShell operates on multiple blockchain networks like Polygon and Binance’s opBNB. The platform also plans to launch its own Layer 2 blockchain by the end of the year, for a specialized AI development ecosystem.
In August, MyShell had found its most recent investor in Binance, as the firm claimed to lay the foundation for the future of Crypto x AI on four layers: AI model layer, AI creator platform, AI app store, and incentive network. Moreover, the web3 AI platform, MyShell had successfully raised $11 million in the pre-Series A funding round led by Dragonfly in May.
