Trust Wallet Adds XRP Ledger & Token Support

Trust Wallet Adds Support for XRP Ledger and XRPL Tokens

The prominent crypto wallet service provider, Trust Wallet unveiled support for the XRP Ledger network, which will allow users to transact XRP and XRPL tokens through their wallets.

In the announcement, the Trust Wallet team writes, “This token support integration is a key milestone in bringing even more exciting features to the Trust Wallet ecosystem. By enabling XRPL token functionality, we’re laying the groundwork for deeper interoperability and expanded use cases within the XRPL network.”

“For years, millions of users have relied on Trust Wallet to interact with XRP. Now, with this latest integration, users can also manage XRPL tokens like ARMY, RLUSD, and many others—unlocking even more ways to engage with the XRP Ledger ecosystem,” stated in the announcement.

XRP Expands Its Boundaries

Despite its legal clash with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), XRP has witnessed impressive growth in the last few years. According to Ripple Labs CEO Brad Garlinghouse, Swap volumes on XRP Ledger’s decentralized exchange (DEX) surpassed the $400 million bar in January. This reflects the growth in its on-chain activity.

With the launch of RLUSD, its stablecoin, Ripple is expanding its boundaries. XRP Ledger provides a great approach to cross-border transactions, which eliminates inefficiencies and loopholes present in traditional banking systems.

Recently, Ripple has announced its partnership with Unicâmbio, Portugal’s leading currency exchange provider, to bring crypto payments to the country. The crypto exchange will use Ripple payments to proceed with cross-border payments between Portugal and Brazil.
