In addition to TRON, Justin Sun has been CEO of Rainberry Inc, dba BitTorrent, since June 2018. BitTorrent’s price has been of growing interest to investors, especially with its integration into the decentralized file-sharing ecosystem. Sun formerly led the development of Ripple’s China business operations. He created Peiwo, a popular live chat app in China with over ten million registered users, and served as CEO until July 2017.
Justin Sun became a Davos Global Shaper in 2014 and was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 China and Asia lists in 2017. Justin received his MA from UPenn in 2013 and his BA in History from Peking University in 2011.
