The world is fixated on the Presidential Elections between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump where crypto is taking prominence. The community rejoices as crypto finally gets the recognition it deserves. Among the various aspects, crypto political betting has caught the attention of many, Polymarket has become one of the prime sources to know which candidate is favored by voters.

Donald J. Trump and Kamala Harris both share political betting odds of a 49% chance of becoming the 47th president of the United States. The “Presidential Election Winner 2024” bet on Polymarket has hit $867,213,838 – nearing one billion.

With only eight weeks until election day, Harris and Trump tried to make their case to voters in a debate that lasted 90 minutes.  Donald Trump never once uttered Kamala Harris’s name during the entire debate.

Briefly, after the debate, Harris led the polls with nearly 52% of votes, while Trump fell to a mere 47%. However, the effects of the debate seem to have subsided as both candidates stand on equal footing at 49%,  as shown in a Polymarket analysis.

Politifi Tokens have reacted negatively to the debate. All the tokens tied to Trump are down, as is the rest of the crypto market.

On-chain data from CoinGecko shows MAGA trading at a 12.7% loss in the last 24 hours. Maga Hat is down 21.6% within the same time frame. Doland Tremp TREMP is down double digits. It’s trading at a 26.1$ loss in the last 24 hours.

Tokens tied to Kamala Harris reacted positively after the debate. Kamala Horris KAMA is up 2.7% in the last 24 hours and 4.2% up in the last hours.
