Trump Snubs Larry Fink & Jamie Dimon for Treasury Secretary

In a recent Truth Social platform post, Donald Trump denied considering JPMorgan’s Jamie Dimon or BlackRock’s Larry Fink for US Treasury Secretary. Trump has denied the rumors while pointing fingers at the “Radical Left.”

Trump denies picking BlackRock’s CEO as Treasury Secretary

Reports, led by the New York Post, broke out three days ago that Trump had considered Larry Fink as his pick for US Secretary of Treasury. The rumors appear to be based on Trump’s relationship with Jamie and Fink.

According to reports, Fink and BlackRock have been managing Trump’s investment for several years. To that end, DJT said:

In the last few days, the crypto community has shown support for Fink as secretary of Treasury, considering his position on crypto. Elizabeth Warren has held this position under the Biden administration. Her position and policy on crypto have had traders in a chokehold for the duration of Biden’s presidency.

Jamie and Fink could have had a huge impact on crypto. Fink has defended BTC, calling it digital gold, after BlackRock dived into Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. Now, traders and investors are looking to November to see who Trump will pick as the US Secretary of the Treasury.

In the meantime, Donald Trump will attend the Bitcoin Conference 2024 in Nashville this week.
