Zaif is a Japanese crypto exchange which was first in obtaining the license from the local regulator the Financial Services Agency (FSA). Japan is the first country to regulate the operations of the crypto exchanges and is one of the leading crypto trading markets in the world. The exchange allows trading in both crypto-to-crypto and crypto for fiat currencies. The supported fiat currency is JPY. The exchange offers some of the largest coins along with its own coin NEM. The BTC/JPY holds the largest share of the volume which is followed by the NEM/JPY pair. The exchange offers leveraged trading to its users who like to trade aggressively. The trading fees of the exchange are low in comparison to the other exchanges. The exchange has a huge list of cryptocurrencies that can be traded for JPY and themselves. There are total 41 JPY pairs, 21 XEM pairs, 28 BTC pairs, and 15 MonaCoin pairs. The exchange offers a special feature called Instant exchange which allows users to buy and sell Bitcoin and Monacoin instantly for JPY. This is done with the help of a simple buy and sell form. The exchange accepts payments with Master cards credit cards and Visa credit cards, but the card needs to be issued by a Japanese bank.
