Barcelona to Host Hackathon from October 16-18
The last-minute preparations are on with tremendous enthusiasm in Barcelona for the annual Blockchain Solutions World event. According to the organizers, the hackathon will take place from October 16-18, 2018 in Hall 1 of the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via venue.
After the overwhelming response received last year, the 2018 edition is expected to be attended by 14,000 delegates from across the world. Some of the participating companies this year are Google, Intel, and Microsoft, among others.
Programs
The blockchain hackathon will feature four different programs– Blockchain Solutions World Conference, Crypto Economy World Conference, De(v) Central, and BlockchaINVEST. In addition to these, other programs will also happen simultaneously, including the Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Systems Forum and IoT Solutions World Congress.
Blockchain Solutions World will be an opportunity to take a step towards effective and advanced blockchain solutions. At the same time, it is a great place to listen to insights and discover latest technologies and convergence of technologies related to blockchain industry and other vertical sectors such as connected transport and logistics, manufacturing and supply chains, healthcare, energy, real estate, music and entertainment, government, and blockchain for good.

De(v) Central Hackathon would be a platform for distributed ledger technology companies, developers, and coders to explore ways of building applications for a decentralized world. BlockchaINVEST will feature some of the most promising cryptocurrency projects and global blockchain firms that are looking to raise funds. They will have the opportunity to interact with potential investors and fund managers in their own customized setting.
