In an official announcement on Medium Wombat stated that the collaboration would provide access to its users to a free Telos account. Commenting on these recent developments, Telos CPO Justin Giudici said,
“We’re so excited to welcome Wombat as a preferred wallet to Telos. They’ve really pushed the boundaries when it comes to UX and ease of use for the EOS ecosystem and will enable rapid growth for us, too.”
Berlin-based Wombat is one of the fastest-growing digital wallets based on the EOS network, having over 80,000 users from more than 169 countries. Millions of transactions have been executing through their Android, iOS, and Chrome extension. It is a crypto-blockchain based gaming platform, which also allows EOS users to store their digital assets.
Telos network, on the other hand, recently started onboarding games like Angry Warlord, which will also be available to play through Wombat. In the official post, Wombat said,
“We’ve worked with the amazing people at Telos Foundation to bring each Wombat user a free Telos account in addition to the EOS accounts we already provide. Together with the Telos Foundation, we want to bring the next 1 million blockchain users to both Telos and EOS.”
