Ozzy Osbourne Announces First NFT Collection
Virtual art has got its space on the internet. NFT, short for Non-Fungible Token, has made it possible for virtual artists to sell their digital artwork.
Interested art collectors can bid to own their favorite piece of art. Having an NFT transfers the ownership to the owner. Artists can still retain the copyright and reproduction right even after the transfer of ownership.

Ozzy Osbourne shocked everyone during his on-stage performance in 1982, where he bit the head of a bat. The stunt still remains a hot topic for discussion among the people of Des Moines, a city in Iowa.
Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he will launch a rare NFT collection called CryptoBatz, with an aim to make the stunt more memorable. The NFT collection has been prepared by himself. It will tentatively be unveiled in January 2022.
CryptoBatz is expected to be a set of 9,666 unique NFT bats. It will have a unique feature called MutantBatz.
The feature will allow the holder of CryptoBatz to bite and mutate their holding with another NFT. This makes it a rare offering in the world of NFT. Holders will mandatorily be required to have a digital wallet to claim the NFT and access the feature.
It is available for presale on the official Discord channel, CryptoBatz. Reportedly, a team of four members has come together for the collection of NFTs. This includes SupDucks, Bored Ape, and Yacht Club, Cryptotoadz.
While expressing his love for the NFT collection, Ozzy Osbourne said that the design paid tribute to one of his most iconic onstage moments.
Future Line-Up
CryptoBatz will be available for sale on the same Discord channel, with public minting expected to go live in early February 2022.
Meanwhile, Osbourne has announced his intention to launch AncientBatz soon. It will be a treasure hunt where virtual Batz will be scattered across the globe.
Public figures entering into NFT is a big boost to virtual art. One famous launch was of an album titled When You See Yourself by Kings of Leon. Other personalities are expected to follow the trend
